Solar dehumidifiers and air heaters
The SolarVenti range of solar dehumidifiers, air heaters and ventilators are a CE marked (ensuring that the systems meet the relevant European legislation and quality requirements) solar air heating system. They provide clean, warm air through a building without the need for mains electricity. Which means zero running costs and zero CO2 emissions. Solar controlled, solar maintained. Each time the sun shines the fan will start to blow fresh warm and dry air into the building. The fan is controlled and driven by a solar cell - so no running cost. The system starts and stops automatically, this is controlled by the sun. The system is totally independent of mains electricity supply - ideal for houses some time unoccupied, or for properties with a condensation or damp problem. How does it work? The Siting A south, south east or south west facing site, with minimum shade is ideal. The solar air panel and the solar cell can be wall mounted directly or to special brackets provided. The fan is installed inside the house, connected to the solar air panel via a special flex-tube.
Easy to install The system can be fitted within a few hours, either by our engineers or by a competent DIYer. The only tools required being a power drill, a screwdriver and a hammer and chisel. Full installation instructions enclosed with the system. There are different sized units for different applications, more details below, and all can be fitted by a competent DIYer. And remember, no mains electric connection required!! We can even fit it for you if you prefer.
