Super Eco Emulsion This new product revolutionises environmentally friendly paints: our product is white, non-drip, easy to apply and wipeable. It can be used on walls as well as ceilings with the minimum amount of fuss or splashes. It is microporous, biodegradable and virtually odour free and can be tinted with NUTSHELL Earth & Mineral Pigments. It fills and covers extremely well.
Casein Emulsion A healthy and quality alternative for distemper and limewash.This soft-white paint is ready mixed, non-drip and easy to use. It can be used on walls and ceilings with the minimum amount of fuss. It is microporous, allowing your walls to breathe and so enhance the atmosphere of your room. Virtually odour free, you can safely breathe and sleep in a painted room the same day. It can be coloured with Nutshell Earth & Mineral Pigments to create individual shades. Nutshell naturally coloured distemper can be used as a paint on walls to give a flat, authentic and stylish look.
Earth and Mineral Pigments The Nutshell palette consists of pigments that have been selected for purity, consistency and clarity of colour in order to give you the best possible finishes when mixing with our paints and wood treatments. The pigments have been prepared to assist their easy dispersion and mixing in our products! Most of the pigments are rich and deep colours and even suitable for making your own artist paints.
Colour Wash Medium Create an individual and original look of your own with Nutshell Colour washes and glazes. These specialist yet easy to use products are used to put a layer of pigment onto walls and other previously painted surfaces. Decorative effects are possible by allowing brush marks to remain visible or by using by a roller, rag or sponge to achieve a textured finish. This "broken colour effect" is a useful way of achieving stronger colours. When pigments are mixed into white paint they will be lighter than when they are in a clear medium. Instead of mixing pigment into a paint for a tinted opaque colour, with Nutshell Colour Washes and Glazes, pigment is applied directly onto a surface. These products are clear and bind the pigment to the surface.

Choosing your colours? Nutshell Natural Paints come in a range (number) of beautiful shades and you can choose the exact colour for your needs in the comfort of your own home or in your office. Colours and tones can never be exactly reproduced by viewing on a PC or by printing from a computer. Our Colour Specifier Pack contains hand painted cards of the entire Nutshell palette along with detailed instructions on how to mix, apply and maintain the paints. The pack is available at just 7 euros (plus postage and packing)
